I’ve wanted to try out a new product for a while now and it is FINALLY out of the workshop. I am excited to announce my new Video Photography Sessions, where I have teamed up with the oh-so-talented Nick Sorensen. Yeah, that’s right—it’s a Sorensen duo. This is a new service I am offering on top of my normal portrait sessions. =-)
So, you may be asking yourself, “What exactly is a Video Photography Session?” Well let me tell you. It is a little different than my typical portrait session. It isn’t all about posing and smiling (although there will be some of that still), but we take a more candid and journalistic approach. I will be taking photographs of your family at the same time that Nick will be capturing video. My photo edits will be more raw and natural, setting it apart from my portrait session. Additionally in post-production, Nick’s video footage will be edited into a short 2-3 minute video. For the session, we will ask you to pick an activity or event that you and your family enjoy doing. For example, you could have a picnic, blow bubbles, or play at the park. Then we capture the family-fun with both video footage and photographs. It’s as easy as that!
The Video Photography Session Includes:
- 45-minute session only in certain locations on the West valley. (Yes, we can travel).
- 2-3 minute family video
- 15-20 high resolution still images (instant link download)
- Image copyrights
- Hardcopy of video (instant link download)
- Uploaded onto Vimeo (for easy sharing)
